'Every child is a different kind of flower and altogether makes this world a beautiful garden'
Hopeswood Nursery is a rural setting within the grounds of Hopeswood House for children aged 3months-5years.
We are based in Longhope, between the boarders of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.
At Hopeswood we are proud to follow an outdoor ethos based on excellent all weather facilities over 3 acres of paddocks and enclosed play area.
We offer our very own forest learning area on site where children are given the freedom to explore Hopeswood mini-woodland, collect eggs from the chickens for baking, feed the pony a carrot or enjoy a spot of pond dipping.
Healthy eating is promoted, where possible we grow our own fruit and vegetables to eat during meal times. All dietary needs and 14 allergens advised by the government guidelines will be taken seriously and alternatives will be provided.
Indoors we offer a homely atmosphere and diverse ranges of toys and equipment.
The Early Years Foundation Stage is paramount to Hopeswood and we aim to offer each child the best start in life.
Staff are vigorously vetted, DBS Checked and First Aid Trained. All members of Hopeswood offer a sunny disposition and a proven record of working with children.
Daily Diary's, a photo and video map are provided through an app via your phone or email address to share each child's development, special moments and are a form of regular communication between parents and Hopeswood on top of daily communication on drop off and collection.
We are a small setting with strong bonds between staff and Hopeswood families. Government ratios will be adhered to at all times and where possible exceeding them to offer outstanding care and education. Our Equal Opportunity Policy runs throughout all we do at Hopeswood, we pride ourselves on offering each child a warm and loving environment to grow.
